This painting began on a grey canvas which shows through in the lighter dog. I was enamored by the repetition of curves on the dog bodies.

THESE lively Chihuahuas are cared for by my brother-in-law and his family. Their shenanigans inspired this group of paintings. The two youngest are black and white which makes for great contrast in a painting of wrestling dogs.
