Privacy Policy

Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.elizabethpetrulis.com.

We value your security and privacy and only collect data in order to provide our service to you. We do not share, sell, trade, or otherwise distribute this data to outsiders.

Consent

By accessing our website or our Service, you accept our Privacy Policy, and you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. Each time you voluntarily provide us with information, you agree that you are consenting to our collection, use and disclosure of the information that you provide, and you are consenting to receive emails or otherwise be contacted, in order to fulfill our transactions.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Contact Forms

The information your provide is sent as email messages and only Elizabeth Petrulis has access. The info is also stored in the database on the hosting, email, or backup servers.

Akismet is enabled on the site in the contact form. The following submission data — IP address, user agent, name, email address, website, and message — is submitted to the Akismet service (owned by Automattic) for the sole purpose of spam checking. The actual submission data is stored in the database of this site and is emailed directly to elizabethpetrulis.com. This email will include the submitter’s IP address, timestamp, name, email address, website, and message.

Post and post meta data associated with a user’s comment submission. As Akismet is enabled on the site, the IP address and user agent originally submitted with the comment are synced, as well, as they are stored in post meta.

Questionnaires

For the commission and feedback questionnaires we use TYPEFORM, a service by TYPEFORM S.L. The data collected about you and your project is processed by us for the sole purpose of creating your custom heirloom portrait, or to improve our service. Further information on conditions of use and data protection can be found at typeform.

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Site. Please visit the help page of your web browser for your cookie settings.

Analytics

In addition to cookies we use Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to better understand our website traffic.

You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to most browsers. Read about Google privacy policies here.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites, including social media platforms, may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

We strongly recommend you review the Privacy Policy of each site you visit, or interact with, as we have no control or responsibility over their content or practices.

Who we share your data with

We use Typeform for our questionnaires. While Typeform collects and stores responses they do not manage the information. Rather the data collected about you and your project is processed by us for the sole purpose of creating your custom heirloom portrait or to gather feedback about your experience. Payments are processed on the PayPal operated site and we do not see, nor store, your credit/debit or other financial details.
