A collection of fantastical creatures reflecting our new dystopia.

Each improbable being an amalgamation of parts from different animals joined in disregard of natural proportions.
Contemporary Chimera if you will, inspired while consuming the inconceivable news of, and the animals associated with, people in politics in the USA. Each science defying re-assembled monster brings forth a disaster.
Though overall the paintings are low keyed, there is high contrast with important areas spot lighted by bright and light color: the creature just going on its way, and a singular crisis it caused.
In an oxymoronic fashion, these preposterous beings are depicted in a naturalistic way. Representing the absurd destruction by government while resembling the diversity under attack.
Using contemporary acrylic paints, while harking back to ancient Greek mythology, these visions portend a dystopian future.
